Samantha Prime BN MPHTM
Research Fellow at the University of Plymouth Centre for Health Technology
Samantha is currently a Research Fellow at the University of Plymouth Centre for Health Technology specialising in smart hospitals and evidence-based innovation and health service transformation working comprehensively within quadruple helix partnerships. As a nurse by background with policy, academic, digital innovation and healthcare construction experience she brings with her a comprehensive understanding of opportunities and challenges facing the rise of intelligent health and care facilities. She holds honorary research appointments specialising in smart hospitals at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. From January 2024 Samantha will support the Healthcare Design Leadership CIC from Australia where she will commence her new role as Director in Clinical Excellence Queensland’s Healthcare Improvement Unit.
